About the COMBAT MIRROR™
The COMBAT MIRROR™ is a strike-responsive mirror that mounts on any structural wall. It helps the athlete see hand, head, and body position while they strike it, and they see what their guard, stance and technique are actually doing under speed and power, not two days later on video.
The system captures 33 body landmarks and returns feedback in real time. Full technical specifications, including measured accuracy and the method used to establish it, are published in our specification sheet.
Research into the system's effects is led by Adj. Prof. Alan Pearce at Swinburne University of Technology. Studies are underway and results are in submission. They have not yet completed peer review, and we will say so until they have.

Research
Our research program is led by Adj. Prof. Alan Pearce at Swinburne University of Technology.
Current status: studies are underway. Results are in submission and have not yet completed peer review. We will not describe them as peer-reviewed until they are.
Preliminary findings from our in-house studies, comparing COMBAT MIRROR™ sessions to traditional bag work, indicate improvements in guard position, technique and stance stability. Full figures, sample sizes and methodology are available on request and will be published in full when the papers are accepted.
What we have not yet shown. We have not demonstrated that use of the COMBAT MIRROR™ reduces head impacts, concussion incidence, or long-term neurological risk. Establishing whether it does is the purpose of our research program.
